The Good Level
Facts about CBD
Cannabidiol (CBD) is different from the other well-known compounds found in hemp and cannabis plants, also known as cannabis sativa. Unlike THC, CBD will not produce a psychedelic side effect commonly associated with the plant. The most anyone has ‘felt’ from taking CBD is a slight calming effect.
CBD is legally used in food supplements and skincare products found in the UK, and the World Health Organisation (WHO) has stated that CBD is “generally well tolerated with a good safety profile.”
Research suggests that there is no evidence that you can get addicted to CBD oils.
CBD comes in many forms, including capsules, tinctures, creams, lotions, and gummies. You can even find CBD infused beverages like water, tea, and coffee. These products will make it easier for beginners to find the right dosage for them. They may also be more convenient for beginners than CBD oil.
CBD is available in different forms including:
Oils & tinctures: CBD in liquid form, which is placed under the tongue with a graduated pipette. It can also be mixed with other carrier oils to be used topically.
Creams & lotions: Topicals infused with CBD which are used for a wide variety of reasons, most commonly as a skin maintenance product or to manage muscle aches.
Capsules & pills: CBD in capsule form, which is swallowed with water.
Edibles: CBD edibles are CBD in sweet form.
Vaping: Inhaling CBD oil through an e-cigarette or vape pen.
Drinks: CBD is becoming ever-increasingly popular infused within a tea, coffee or fruit drink.
When choosing a CBD product, you should choose one that is certified by an independent laboratory. These labs will test the ingredients in a CBD product to ensure their safety. Certificates of analysis will show you the concentration of each ingredient. This will also show you the transparency of the seller. You can usually find this information on the product’s detail page. It’s important to note that the labs used for certification must be of high quality.
The key to choosing the right CBD product depends on how you want to use it. CBD oils and sprays tend to be the first step, but many people enjoy consuming edibles such as gummies.

When starting CBD, you should be sure to start with low doses and slowly increase them over time. Start with a few drops a day, and increase your doses every week.
When taking CBD, always think about the milligrams of CBD you are consuming. All of our Full Spectrum CBD Oils come with a graduated pipette to help you measure your consumption to find the right level for you.
As with any other supplement, it is best to consult with your doctor if you have questions. The right dose for you will depend on your lifestyle and medical condition.
It’s important to remember that CBD is not for children and is recommended to be kept away from children.
No two people will require the same dose, the FSA recommend that healthy adults do not take more than 70mg of CBD a day, unless a doctor agrees more.
